Bordentown City Cats

A great time was had by all at Bordentown City Cats' 10th anniversary celebration happy hour and awards party at Jester's Cafe on Feb. 17.  Thank you to Mike and Sandra Scotto of Jester's for being such great hosts and for generously donating a portion of all the proceeds we brought in last night to help our cause.  Thank you to CJ Mugavero of the Artful Deposit for generously donating one of the prizes.  And of course, thank you to everyone who came out last night and all those who have generously supported us over the past 10 years.  Here's to another 10 more! Please join us on Monday, February 17, from 6 - 8 p.m. for a happy hour awards party at Jester's Cafe as we unveil the winners of our 10th anniversary cat photo contest! The top 12 photos - all of whom will be featured in a special 2015 calendar - will all be unveiled and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 vote-getters.  We will also be marking the occasion by announcing our humanitarian of the year award recipient, that special person in the community who has gone above and beyond the call to help support our cause. There will be featured drinks specials and Jester's has generously agreed to donate a portion of the night's proceeds to Bordentown City Cats.  So come out of the cold, warm up with a cocktail and support our rescue efforts as well as a loyal local business! Jesters is located at 233 Farnsworth Ave, Bordentown.  We hope to see everyone there!

The deadline for submitting photos for our 10th anniversary cat photo contest is officially over and it's time for the voting to begin!  A special thank you to everyone who took the time to send in their submissions.  It's going to be a tough competition! There will be prizes for the top vote getters and a chance for the top 12 vote getters to be featured in our 2015 calendar! To help us continue our rescue mission for another 10 years, each vote will cost $1.00 and you can vote as often and as much as you'd like.  The deadline to vote is December 31, 2013 and you can vote in one of two ways: Vote in person at the following downtown Bordentown holiday events: 11/30 - 4 to 6 pm - Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, outside The Vault pizzeria, 300 Farnsworth Ave. 12/6 - 6 to 8 pm - Chocolate Walk, outside the Artful Deposit, 201 Farnsworth Ave. 12/14 - 3 to 5 pm - Holiday House Tours/Carriage Rides, outside the Friends Meeting House, 302 Farnsworth Ave. 12/20 -...
