'Tis the Season to Consider Giving

2015 was an extremely busy, but successful year for Bordentown City Cats and that's thanks, in no small part, to people like you.  In total, we rescued and found new homes for more than 30 cats this year! But with these increasing numbers comes increased costs, especially with the many kittens we rescued this year who all require spay/neuter services in addition to vaccinations and other medical needs. So, if you are considering an end of year donation or are looking for a last minute gift and would like to donate in honor of someone, please consider Bordentown City Cats.  We are a registered 501c3 so your donation is fully tax deductible and you can now do it online securely through PayPal to make life even easier!  If you wish to donate in someone's name, just be sure to indicate their name and address in the notes section and we will be happy to send them a letter informing them of your donation. We would like to thank everyone who has donated money or food, given

UPDATE:  We're so thrilled to report that Mickey has now found a forever home with the same family that adopted his sister Minnie!  Look how happy they are together... PREVIOUSLY: We need your help!  The only family we’ve known for the first year of our life had to move and could not take us with them because of their circumstances so Bordentown City Cats agreed to step in and take care of us for now. We were born at the end of July 2014 and have a long life ahead of us. We are both friendly, playful, extremely affectionate and have a general love of being petted all the time! Minnie Mickey We get along just fine with kids, although we’re not particularly crazy about other cats, not that we’re aggressive about it.  We’ve never really seen a dog before so they’re pretty frightening to us and we’d do best in a home without any. Mickey (the male) has a film over his eyes caused by herpes, which is common in cats, but it doesn’t affect his vision...or his lovabi

Cagney purring up a storm Lacey is an approximately one year old female who is also a complete love and will purr your ear off to let you know she's happy. UPDATE:   Hooray for Zoe & Zeus who found their new forever home together!! PREVIOUSLY... What seemed like a happy ending for Zoe & Zeus when they were adopted from us several months ago has come to an abrupt halt after a member of their family discovered they were highly allergic to cats.  They have been returned to us and are being fostered right now but their quest for a forever home continues! Zoey is a beautiful medium haired female. She is super friendly, calm and well behaved... Her brother Zeus has shorter hair but he is equally adorable and a sweetheart too... They are both around 5 months old, fixed, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped and their previous family has also given us all kinds of cat stuff to go with them including a beautiful, tall cat tree. They have formed a close bond, having been with each other since birth, so ideally we would like for them to be adopted together.  If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting the,

UPDATE:  We're happy to announce that adorable little Squirt has already found a loving, forever home! Previously... Hi there!  My name is Squirt because I was the runt of the litter when I was born in early May.  I’m only a couple months old now but filling out nicely. I was taken in temporarily by someone in Bordentown who could not keep me so they reached out to Bordentown City Cats to help find me a permanent home.  What I’d love more than anything is a forever home and a lap to call my own.  I am a total love bug and will even come running to greet you at the door when you come home! I was just neutered and vaccinated recently so I’m ready to pack my bags and move in to my new forever home.  Just tell me when! If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Squirt, please contact us at:  (E) btowncitycats@gmail.com or (P) 609-324-3896.

UPDATE:  After many months in our foster care, we are so happy to announce that Bobby has finally found a loving, forever home with a young, growing family...the happy ending he deserves! PREVIOUSLY... We rescued this sweet, little guy from Elizabeth Street in Bordentown City several weeks ago after he was spotted wandering in yards hungry and eager for food. He is young and very friendly so he may have belonged to someone at some point, but despite our best efforts we have not been able to find his owner so we are now fostering him. He is now neutered and fully vaccinated and just as sweet as can be.  If you can find it in your heart to give Bobby the forever home he deserves, he will be purring on your lap in no time. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Bobby, please contact us at: (E) btowncitycats@gmail.com or (P) 609-324-3896.

Elton, the cuddler, Needs a New Home!

"Hold me closer, tiny dancer..."  If Elton could sing, like his namesake, that might be what he's crooning to this adorable little kitten he can't seem to get enough of... Lovable Elton is a placid, adult, male who gets along with everybody. The poor guy was found as a stray, starving, full of ticks and with two seriously infected paws. One of our volunteers rescued him and he is now healthy and looking for a home.  Elton is a real sweetheart!  Will you be the one to give him the happy ending he deserves?  If so, please contact us at:  (E) btowncitycats@gmail.com or (P) 609-324-3896.
