3rd Annual Photo Contest Unveiled - Cat Shaming theme!!

Following the success of the past two years, we are excited to announce our 3rd annual photo contest with this year's theme being..."Cat Shaming."

For those not in the know, #CatShaming is just the latest way cats are taking over the internet.  Here's a few examples...

So think long and hard about your cat's most lovably shameful habits and make sure to snap a shot with your cat and enter now!

Deadline for photo submissions is Sunday, May 15, 2016.  To enter:
  • Include: your name, address, phone # and cat's name
  • Email photos to:  btowncitycats@gmail.com
Then get your friends and family to vote as often and as much as they'd like for the best photos.  $1 per vote will help your cat garner all the fame and glory they deserve!  And every dollar will help support our ongoing rescue efforts so we can celebrate another successful year serving the Bordentown community.

This year, voting will be available in person at our booth at the annual Chamber of Commerce Street Fair on May 21 and 22.  Voting will also be available online and by mail through mid-June.

Finalists and complete voting instructions will be announced online on May 20, 2016 at:

Help us find Thomasena a new family!

This beautiful little girl was hanging around Thompson Street in Bordentown recently until we rescued her.   She is very friendly so we think she may have belonged to someone at one point but nobody has come forward so we are now looking for a new forever home for her! She has medium-length fur, is approximately  1-2 years old and is a unique   polydactyl, i.e. a Hemingway cat .   If you or someone you know is interested in adopting beautiful, little Thomasena, please contact us at:  (E) btowncitycats@gmail.com or (P) 609-500-0608.

Check out our Facebook page for frequent updates!

If you came here looking for the latest information on our group's activities, fret not, we are still very active in the Bordentown community!  (Blogger is so very mid 2010's 😏)  Instead, check out our Facebook page for regular updates, including information on the cuties we have available for adoption: https://www.facebook.com/btowncitycats . Information on all of the tabs above - including our adoption application and donation portal - is still current and active. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at: btowncitycats@gmail.com . Thank you for your continued support! -- from all of us at Bordentown City Cats

"I cannot tell you how much I appreciate  this group (BCC). In my time of need with the passing of one of my closest friends, they allowed me to drop off her cat who wa s now alone.    They responded so quickly and a lovely woman named Mindy, left her number. Once we were able to catch this beautiful cat (who was afraid and confused as to what had happened),  Mindy welcomed us to her house to drop off our little friend with the knowledge that he would be fostered and not put into a shelter. This alone calmed our already pained hearts. Our friend loved her cat with all of her he...
