The other day we heard it was Giving Tuesday, where people donate to a worthy cause. This prompted us to think of all the people that have “given” to Bordentown City Cats in one way or another this past year...
Some of you may have participated in our bowling event, shopped at our famous annual flea market, donated some of your gently loved treasures for us to sell, visited our booth at the Bordentown Street Fair and/or the Cranberry Fest, some of you may have made a much needed donation, or most importantly adopted one of our dear rescues. Whatever your involvement, we sincerely appreciate it.
Presently, we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary in cat rescue by holding a Cat Photo Contest. The deadline for entering your gorgeous feline has passed but there is still time for you to vote for one of the 94 cats that have been entered. Please visit us on Facebook or at our website for details on how you can vote. Voting will end December 31st and the winners will be announced at an upcoming happy hour fundraiser and they will eventually be highlighted in our 2015 calendar. More details will be announced on our website soon.
We have had another very productive and successful year thanks to whatever role you played. However, our cat and kitten rescues, adoption, medical care, feeding and care of our many feral colonies do not come without a cost. If you are looking to give a special gift this holiday season, please consider our group. Checks can be made payable to “Bordentown City Cats” and sent to PO Box 421, Bordentown, NJ 08505. We will gladly send a holiday message to your loved one letting them know a donation has been made in their honor, if you include instructions to do so.
Thank you for your continued support of our organization. Best wishes for a happy holiday season and a happy, healthy new year, from all of us at Bordentown City Cats.
