Adopted! Another BCC Success Story...

* All of these cuties have been adopted since this posting * If you haven't noticed a theme by now, one of our foster moms works on play productions so many of our kitties are affectionately named after the cast of various musicals.  Now without further ado, allow us to introduce Red, Rapz, and Cinders from "Into the Woods"... My name is Red and I’m a little boy. I have lived with my foster family since I was 2½ weeks old. I was so tiny I was bottle fed. My foster family says that my sisters and I are very playful, cuddly, sweet kittens and all very well socialized with dogs, cats and people. I am a feisty little boy, full of energy and quite a character. I’d be great for anyone to adopt, and should be ok around young children. My name is Rapz, short for Rapunzel, and I am a little girl kitten. I am very sweet and playful and I just love people, cats and especially dogs as you can see. I have great markings...if you took my brother and sister and mixed them together ...

* All of these cuties have been adopted since this posting * Jack is very playful, loves shoe laces and likes to sleep on shoes. Maybe a more appropriate name for him would have been Loafer? He’s great with dogs and adult cats, well socialized, and litter trained. Who can resist an orange tabby with white paws? If you think it's love at first sight, contact us about giving Jack a forever home: (E) btowncitycats@gmail.com or (P) 609-324-3896.

* All of these cuties have been adopted since this posting * Sandy & Julie... Jenny... Sandy... Julie... Julie & Jenny have happily found loving homes, but little Sandy is still looking for her happy ending.  Will you be the one to give it to her?  Read on for a description of Sandy and her brood... These three beauties - Julie, Sandy & Jenny - come from a very unique family...the only pair of monogamous stray cats known to man! Each spring their mother and father embark on a ritual rendezvous resulting in some of the cutest kittens in Bordentown. Luckily, BCC has finally had success in trapping, spaying/neutering, and returning (TNR) their mother to her surroundings so that we can help limit the homeless cat population in our town. So this trio is the product of their last act of amore.  They are all spayed and up to date on shots If you or anyone you know is interested in giving Sandy a forever home, please contact us at (E) bto...

The remaining cast of My Fair Lady have finally been adopted.  Just like their siblings Eliza, Higgins and Selsey - Alfie and Freddy have now found loving forever homes! Alfie - The Lover. This is a people cat. Easy going, loves to cuddle and purr. He’s also energetic and fun to play with. He loves the dogs and the other cats at his foster home but what he really loves is people! Freddy – The Adventurer. This kitten is all boy. He loves to run and play for hours. He’s very curious and fearless and LOVES the dogs at his foster home...he has no problem snuggling up with the dogs for a nap. Good purrrer and you've gotta love the goatee! Alfie chillin' with his canine companion... Freddy lickin' his lips... Alfie & Freddy in the cutest pic ever captured on film...

Women Working Out for a Good Cause

Capping off a month-long fundraising drive, Curves fitness center presented Bordentown City Cats with goods and monetary donations to benefit our ongoing efforts. Through donations contributed by members of the fitness center, Curves was able to raise over $100 in cash and nearly a month's supply of food, as well as toys, treats, bedding, litter boxes and other cat accessories. "I'm so glad we were able to help out Bordentown City Cats. We are lucky to have some of the most generous ladies working out and reaching their fitness goals here. Whenever we have our charity of the month, they are right there waiting to give all they can," said Rebecca Garatva, Curves Manager (second from right). The fundraising drive is part of Curves' ongoing charitable campaign, which raises money for different non-profit organizations each month. Bordentown City Cats was the lucky beneficiary of Curves' April fundraising efforts. "We couldn't be more grateful to the wond...

Neither Rain, Nor Snow, Nor Sleet, Nor Hail...

...will keep the good folks of BCC from tending to Bordentown's homeless cat population. In the aftermath of the February blizzard, BCC volunteers shovel out paths to get to one of a handful of feral cat colonies, which the group feeds on a daily basis. BCC's daily efforts help these wayward kitties survive, particularly during extreme weather conditions. When volunteers show up for morning feedings, these cuties come running for some much-needed nourishment. Now that's dedication!
